Someone made the point today that there is a lot of whining going on about gluten free being so hard and not being able to eat anything. Come on people, it isn’t that hard! It is only as hard as you make it. Sorry, but you can’t eat a ten course meal with everyone else and not tell the dining staff about it, but you can find simple ways to avoid gluten.
I continually preach: Keep it simple! Especially, for those of you who are just starting out. If you can stick to basic foods, whether you are at home, or out to eat, then it isn’t so bad.

Best gluten free cracker out there… period!
I first discovered these at a winery in Napa Valley, where there was little for me to eat for lunch. When I go back from vacation, I Googled Crunchmaster to see where I could find them. It says they are in SAMS and Costco, but my local stores both stopped carrying them.
Recently, I received an email from a “normal” friend, who also loves them, telling me they were back in stock at Costco! They had actually suggested to Costco to bring them back.
Then I received an email from an aunt telling me she saw them in the SAMS catalog advertised...

I received these Wild Thymes products a few months ago and they have really helped keep my boring meals interesting!
As many of you know, I like to stick to the basics to ensure I am eating gluten free: meats, veggies, fruits, and rice. So, my meals get pretty boring and routine. With these Wild Thymes products, I have been able to keep changing up my meals to keep it interesting! They offer many products, so check their website. A lot are gluten free, but some are not, so make sure it says “gluten free” in orange below the product before you order.

Well, I’ve been 100% Gluten Free for 9 months. I thought it was going to much tougher than it has been to eat gluten free 100% of the time. I can’t recall a time when I have been a big inconvenience or not found something to eat. Overall, I am eating much healthier than I used to. I lost some weight at first, but quickly found ways to replace my old favorite foods.
Like I frequently say, I don’t really buy the gluten free “imitation” foods in the stores, and rarely do I splurge and go to gluten free restaurants due to the high cost. So, it may appear that...

I love contests and giving away free things!
Purchase a Gluten Free Bumper Sticker and you will be entered to win an iPod. We decided to use an increasing prize scale for this contest. The more awareness that is spread, the more we have to give back to the gluten free community. Each gluten free bumper sticker purchased gets you an entry into the drawing. Buy them for your friends and family!
The prize starts at a 1GB iPod Shuffle, increases to a just released 4GB iPod Shuffle, and ends with an 8GB iPod Nano. You will have your choice of color… but we recommend green! If we so...
