Wild Thymes

I received these Wild Thymes products a few months ago and they have really helped keep my boring meals interesting!

As many of you know, I like to stick to the basics to ensure I am eating gluten free: meats, veggies, fruits, and rice.  So, my meals get pretty boring and routine.  With these Wild Thymes products, I have been able to keep changing up my meals to keep it interesting!  They offer many products, so check their website.  A lot are gluten free, but some are not, so make sure it says “gluten free” in orange below the product before you order.

Here are my long overdue reviews of each one I’ve tried:

Meyer Lemon Salad Refresher: Very light and fruity.  I use it for my salads and as a marinade or to cook chicken with.  Great for a spinach salad with fruit!

Chili Ginger Honey Marinade: I use this for a lot of things.  It also makes a great salad dressing, but I mostly use it in stir-fry.  Sweet and a little spicy at the same time.

Tuscan Tomato Basil Vinaigrette: Your traditional “herby” vinaigrette dressing.  Very good on any salad.

Original Cranberry Sauce: Honestly, I have yet to try this one.  Although, as I looked up the description online just to be able to tell you something, it has peaked my interest.  I didn’t really know what to do with this one right away, but their website has given me some ideas.  I am going try it soon as a glaze over some meat.  It also says to put it on your gluten free breads. I’ll let you know what I think.

Mango Papaya Chutney: I’ve mixed this one into a salad and with some eggs.  Very good and sweet.

Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce: WOW!  A little, and I mean little, bit goes a long way.  I made the mistake of adding a teaspoon to my eggs and almost couldn’t eat it, and I like hot things.  I use this on a lot of things to spice them up and give them flavor.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be between the Chili Ginger Honey Marinade and the Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce.  I make omelets almost every morning and have used almost all of these on them.
