It appears that most people with Celiac really miss eating pizza… I know I do! I would like to start a list of places that serve gluten free pizza, bakeries that sell premade crusts, or good GF pizza making products.
I will keep a running list in the main article. Please comment or email me with additions, comments, or reviews.
My only rule is that YOU must have tried it yourself. I would like to list the place’s name and contact info. Thank you for your help!!!

Whole Foods Market has an awesome pizza crust!
Thank you for the links to pizza crust kits and ingredients, I think I’ll be trying this at home. Delaware doesn’t have too many gluten free places to eat out it seems.
Gino’s East of Chicago
Cornmeal crust.
Various locations.
I just called Gino’s and the first person I spoke to said they did not serve a gluten free crust, and she said she was pretty sure the cornmeal crust was not gluten free. I ended up leaving a message for Ken, the operations manager, just so we can get an official answer.
Waldo Pizza in Kansas City, MO, has gluten free pizza as well.
zPizza (http://www.zpizza.com/) also is serving gluten free pizza. We were able to try it once and it was really good. Pizza Fusion (http://www.pizzafusion.com/) also offers gluten free pizza and much more. Have not been able to try them yet, but will very soon hopefully. I have heard really good things about them.
WALDO PIZZA! I live like 2min from there!

Gluten free Bread
Pizza Crust seasoned and unseasoned
Choc chip cookies-our favorites
muffins also
a different dessert type bread each week also.
Thanks Jeanne: I added Breadsmith to my Gluten Free Bakeries article.
It is so nice to see more places offering gluten-free pizza. I think we counted 10 places in the twin cities that offer gluten-free pizza.
In Canada “Pizza Pizza” and “Pizza Nova” both serve a medium sized gluten free pizza crust (made off site so not to get contaminated) with your choice of toppings. The price is about 3 dollars more then a regular medium pizza (same toppings), and they are available at all locations.
Guido’s Pizza in Okemos, Michigan serves a great thin crust g.f. pizza as well as subs and manicotti. The owner, Steve has a step mom with C.D. and he is a certified g.f.cook. His address is 1754 Central Park Dr. and phone # is 517-347-3030. He can make frozen ones for people to bake at home.
We make a gluten free pizza dough mix. You can find our list of new Gluten Free items at http://www.terra-americana.com/glutenfree.html or call 1-877-298-0867 to learn more. You can also e-mail us at customer-service@terra-americana.com
In Minnesota…
Donatelli’s (white bear lake)
Ronalli’s (woodbury)
Pizza Luce (st.Paul)
Chimney Rock Inn restaurant has the best gluten free pizza I have ever tasted! They have two locations, one in 800 North Thompson Ave, Bridgewater NJ and one in 342 Valley Road, Gillette NJ 07933. They have also recently introduced a Gluten-Free MENU with all types of food, desserts, and beer. Their website is http://www.chimneyrockinn.com or email them at info@chimneyrockinn.com.
Did you ever get a definitive answer from Gino’s East?
Marcellos in Chicago offers gluten free thin and thick crust pizza (along with pasta, dessert and beer). http://www.marcellos.com/menu_dining_abbe.htm
Lou Malnati’s has a sausage crust stuffed pizza that is really rich but good.

Pizza Fusion has great tasting pizza (my non-celiac disease family members can’t taste the difference from regular pizza). And their gluten free brownie is awesome too!
Belly’s Pizza in Roswell, Georgia has a great GF pizza.
Sally’s Bakery in Atlanta sells GF take and bake pizza. I believe it is Dairy Free also.
Spin Neopoitan Pizza has gluten free and there are 2 locations in Overland Park, KS. Taste is great….they also serve gluten free beer so you can enjoy the whole eating pizza out with beer!
Thanks Tina! I live in KC!!!
Ella’s Pizza in Washington, D.C. has a great gluten free pizza. I also made my own crust last week with Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Mix; it was fantastic!! It was enough for two pizzas: the first I made traditional with red sauce and a blend of italian cheeses, the second I made with olive oil, garlic, goat cheese and fresh fresh fresh mozzarella. It was delicious, even the next day cold.
I run Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza, learning so much from reading your website. Thanks again! fort myers pizza is the best.
To improve greatly the Pizza mix from bob’s Red Mill put additional half of a cup of Corn FLOUR in the mix and increase the water by the same amount. It is so much better…..I got this information and have tried it from a resturant here in Portland Oregon call Pizzacato that make a GF Pizza. They do an excellent job and I thank them for the trade secret they where willing to share. So now I pass it on.
Extreme Pizza in Dublin, CA has many different types of toppings all Gluten Free. Their address is: 6599 Dublin Blvd., Suite G, Dublin, CA 94568. There are several locations within California and so many other states within the US: CA, CO, DE, FL, NE, NV, NY, OR, TX, VA, WA/DC as well as Dublin, Ireland. Yummy taste and the best gf pizza I have yet to find. Hope you enjoy it!
“Against The Grain” is the best frozen par-baked crust that I have found. It is available at Whole Foods Market. I have heard from several sources (but not tried myself) that the “Namaste” brand GF pizza crust mix is excellent…better than “Bob’s Red Mill”. There is a pizza place in Arlington Heights, Il, called “Piatti Pronti” that has gluten free pizzas for delivery or take out.
So far we’ve found gluten free pizza at Red Brick Pizza (good but tiny) and Pat & Oscars (really good crust, limited toppings options). Pat & Oscars used to be a favorite before we discovered our kiddos couldn’t eat wheat. Pat & Oscars advertised the crust, so we took them and both my hubby and I tried the pizza too. It was good, and I’m saying that as someone who can eat wheat. The one drawback there was that as soon as they spotted the kids (when we walked in the door) they trotted over with bread sticks. It is very hard to tell a hungry child that he can’t have the food being waved in his face. It is even harder to tell a hungry baby. Good to note: P&O offers chicken that is gluten free and salads, but make sure they add no croutons and that you DON’T use the house dressing. Instead go with oil and vinegar. They have a family meal deal with gluten free pizza, chicken and salad for $28. It was enough food to take home and have a nice rerun.
Old Shawnee Pizza…Went there for dinner last night to get a gluten free pie. Hadn’t made it there yet to check out theirs out yet. Found out last night and confirmed with a mgr named Lisa and the GM, whom I didn’t get his name…that they only have gf crust and NO toppings are gf, really? wtf then? He then claimed Waldo stated that they don’t have gf toppings either, wrong! Waldo’s site has a complete, They have an extensive gf menu and I have eaten there a number of times in the last 2 yrs. I did call Waldo this morning as well and spoke with someone, not in management who was very familiar with how gf works. if you know anyone who has Celiac’s Disease pass this along to them…
Thanks Mark! I wish I could blame the “gf crust but no gf toppings” on ignorance, but that is just plain stupidity.
If I can find the time, I may have to set up interviews with both places and do an article on both places.
I just want to know why they’d have gluten free crust, when the toppings are not. I wonder if their sauce is gluten free, and if you can just get a cheese pizza that is 100% gluten free.
Hey Mike..I actually contacted Olivia’s Oven the supplier of their crust, who btw supplies Waldo and now Pizza Shop (which I have tried and it is great!). The supplier was going to contact them about this and see what is going one with this. The supplier doesn’t want their product used as a ploy to get gf business when in fact they are delivering gf pizza.
I tried to explain to them that this made no sense at all, they just didn’t get it…
