fyi... infertility isn't always a women's issue, some men are also diagnosed with below average semen counts (just like my husband) that categorise them as infertile but the good news is we were lucky enough to treat it and have have little ones...

Wow,Guess in a weird sort of way, I am one of the fortunate people to be diagnosted much later than you. (I was diagnosted just 2 yrs. ago at the age of 61)
I thought I had a blocked artery and was getting ready to have surgery and the prelim. test showed I was dangerous low in hemoglobin. I was admitted to the hosptial immediately, given 2 pints of blood, and this was how my "journey" became on the road to being diagnosted with Celiac. Heck, I had never even heard of the word before, let alone have know what it meant.
I have came a long way since then. Just don't know how I would have gotten this far without the internet and all the great websites. (Since then, I have a sister who now knows she has it, so I have been able to help her)
I hope to take part in a trial test in the near future to do what I can in the search for a pill what will someday help us all.
Thanks for sharing your story, Michelle. I just can NOT begin to imagine what it was like for you back then.
