Ha! What a familiar story! I recently visited Dream Dinners, one of those places where you order meals in advance, then go on a specific date and they have all the ingredients ready for you to make a bunch of meals all at once. Several of their recipes called for flour for sauces or pasta, which was tough. I loved the experience and the food was good, but will now always take some GF flour mix and always use my own GF pasta from home rather than what they offer. There are ways to get around these problems if you go prepared.

Sometimes when I go to restaurants, I find myself looking for vegetarian items thinking that I can't eat meat. It takes me awhile to realize it's the bun--not the patty--that I can't eat. I guess that's the problem with not being raised GF
