Unexpected Weight Loss

This morning I weighed myself and I was down 5 lbs in a week!  Talk about motivation!  I really haven’t been concentrating on eating particularly healthy, but just cutting out the gluten.  I have been very hungry and snacking between meals on not so healthy things… leftover dips from a party, corn chips, and sunflower seeds.

For Christmas I was given a nice blender.  So, I have been having at least a glass or two of fruit smoothie every day, which I would have guessed all the sugar would have kept me from losing some weight. 

I haven’t gotten back into the routine of working out.  I did go to the gym one day and do 20min of cardio and 20 min of weight lift. 

My sleep schedule is a little off… going to bed past 2am and getting up at 11am.  I need to get this changed.  This will be a goal of mine next week… shoot to be in bed at 12 and up by 8. 

I haven’t felt bad for one minute during the past week… this is a good thing, I attribute to being gluten-free!
