I just wanted to comment back to Sonia. I am so happy that you are such a supportive grandmother. You do not realize how hard it can be for those suffering with Celiac's disease to actually get the acceptance of family. So many deny the problem for a long time. I applaud your effort. I live in Michigan and I know our school is required by law to serve the students a GF meal IF you bring in the proper verification from a doctor stating you have Celiac's Disease. It is quite a process but it is in place. I chose not to bother and just have my daughters pack a lunch everyday. It is actually cheaper that way. The government is also working on labeling nationwide. The only problem is that they test for gluten and if the food does not contain 20 ppm or more gluten they can label it GF. Even if it does actually have gluten in it. Many people are up in a roar over this. It might create confusion for new Celiac patients and they might still get sick. I personally am in favor of just following a naturally GF diet. Although I do enjoy my new Betty Crocker GF cake mix when I am in a hurry! I hope this helped a little. Feel free to visit me while I am interning at www.familyfoodies.com

Dear friend.
My name is Sonia Spanish journalist and a granddaughter of celiac six years.
I love the bracelets, the menus ... the photos on your blog congratulations (!)
What worries me is the lack of laws to the celiac group, the lack of gluten-free menus in schools, at work, and travel ...
The celiac know what you can eat, but and society?
I'm worried that my granddaughter in the absence of law firms do not have a social integrcion worldwide.

In Europe we have a law approved labeling came into force in 2011, as you are in Texas? you have specific laws for celiacs?
a warm greeting
