Sorry this doesn’t really relate to gluten free, but we did go to PF Chang’s afterward where they have a gluten free menu! I did put it on Twitter(@switch2gf) hours before it was going to happen, because she isn’t on Twitter.
I really just need a place for my family, friends, and everyone else to see this video, and this is the easiest place!
“Mike & Stephanie got engaged on Saturday, January 9th, 2010 on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. First, they went to happy hour with her sister, Jessica, and her boyfriend, Matt. Earlier in the week, Mike invited 25 of...

Well, I’ve been 100% Gluten Free for 9 months. I thought it was going to much tougher than it has been to eat gluten free 100% of the time. I can’t recall a time when I have been a big inconvenience or not found something to eat. Overall, I am eating much healthier than I used to. I lost some weight at first, but quickly found ways to replace my old favorite foods.
Like I frequently say, I don’t really buy the gluten free “imitation” foods in the stores, and rarely do I splurge and go to gluten free restaurants due to the high cost. So, it may appear that...

Today I had the opportunity to interview Daniel, the manager of the Overland Park, KS Godfather’s Pizza location, and try one of their gluten free pizzas. The pizza was great, and Daniel was very knowledgeable on gluten free food preparation. I feel very safe eating at Godfather’s after seeing first-hand the steps they take to ensure there is no gluten or cross-contamination.

In my Triump: Gluten Free Dining Guide, I noticed a Chinese place nearby. I figured I’d give it a shot. I used to love to go to Chinese buffets. I would sacrifice quality for quantity and the availability of a quick meal. With the most common soy sauces containing wheat, I thought I’d never be able to eat Chinese again. I was wrong. I had a great experience at Fortune Wok in Shawnee Mission!
I ordered the gluten free sesame chicken, and my girlfriend ordered the “normal” people sesame chicken. The price was a couple dollars higher for the gluten free, but well...
